Last night, I was just chilling at home, scrolling through my phone, when suddenly I got a frantic video message from my mom. She’s in complete darkness, whispering, her voice shaky, and asking for help. I freak out. Then I notice — SHE’S IN THE BASEMENT. She’s literally like, “Sweetheart, please come save me. YOUR DAD… HE LOCKED ME DOWN HERE because…” I nearly dropped my phone onto the floor when I found out the reason.
